What are the advantages of Renting a Vacation Rental?

Are pets allowed?

We love pets, but to maintain the quality and integrity of our rental properties, we currently have a no-pets policy across all our locations. This policy is in place to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, including those with allergies or sensitivities

Can I organize a wedding/Birthday/bachelorette?

Yes, you are welcome to host events at our villas! We understand that celebrating special occasions in the comfort of your rental property can create unforgettable memories. However, we also uphold a commitment to the peace and tranquility of the neighborhoods where our villas are located. We kindly ask that all events respect the right of our neighbors to a peaceful environment.

Any event held at our villas are for the enjoyment of resident guests. Extra guests can be subject to an event fee.

What is your cancellation policy ?

Cancellation of a booking may result in the forfeiture of deposit and any payments. Cancellation ca be made up until 60 days before arrival with 50% refund. Refunds for the property rental will only be given if the property is rebooked for the initial period and pricing of the booking, with bank fees deducted from the refund. Dates can be changed up to 90 days prior to arrival, but any adjustments will not result in a price decrease (price may only be adjusted upwards). Guests booking our villas are strongly advised to take out Travel Insurance that covers all medical risks and trip cancellation. In the event of cancellation due to Force Majeur circumstances, namely Airport Closure, Border closure, Lockdown, or Natural Disaster, the stay will either be reimbursed or rescheduled for a later date. New dates are dependent on availability at the same property or another property of Saint-Martin Rentals as agreed upon. Please note that while prices can be adjusted upwards, and cannot be reduced.

What is included in the rental?

Use of all amenities, linens, towels, beach towels, electricity, water, WIFI, TV, departure cleaning, housekeeping once a week for a stay of more than a week. Taxes included in the price: 5% sales tax, 5% service fee. Prices also include Concierge assistance and Maintenance assistance. Extra fees will apply for butler services, private chef, personal driver, masseuse, personal coach, breakfast, grocery delivery, airport transfer, or any other services provided by a third party. Saint Martin Rentals will not be held accountable for services entered with third-parties.

When will I get the address and access information for the rental?

A couple week before your arrival, we will send an email including all necessary information pertaining to the arrival. The day before your travel we will send a reminder with the necessary locations, phone numbers and codes for your travel.

Can I check-in at any time day or night?

You can check-in anytime you want as we use a keybox system. However, check-in assistance is available from 800 AM to 7.00 PM.

Do the rental properties have laundry equipment?

Yes, all our properties are equipped with washers and dryers for you convenience.

Is a security deposit required?

A deposit will be collected and held for 30 days starting the day before your check-in. 1000€ will be held on the card guest provided, but not debited from the account. By signing this rental agreement, Guest autorises Saint Martin Rentals to charge the credit card on file. Contact us if you wish to use another card. The card will be charged ONLY in case of damages. The renter agrees to pay, the cleaning or replacement costs for all damages to personal property or to the real estate, which may occur as a result of the renter’s occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear.

What happens if there is a hurricane?

In the event of an official hurricane warning issued by the Local weather authority affecting Saint-Martin,  Saint Martin Rentals reserves the right to cancel any scheduled arrival. The Company will notify the guest of such cancellation as soon as reasonably practicable.

If a hurricane warning or evacuation order is issued the Guest agrees to comply with all local authorities’ orders, including evacuating the rental property if required.

 

The Company shall not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by the Guest as a result of a hurricane event, including but not limited to, expenses for travel, accommodation, or other costs outside of the rental agreement. The safety and welfare of the Guest is paramount; therefore, the Guest is encouraged to secure appropriate travel insurance to cover these eventualities.

In case of cancellation, Saint Martin Rentals will postpone trip within a 18 month period or issue a refund.

Do I have to pay to get the pool heated?

Pools are heated from November to April. Outside of these months, we avoid overheating pools to avoid bacteria development. Pool heating during the warm months are subject to a flat fee of USD 350 per week (or stay if under a week) to cover extra product and treatment.

Please keep in mind that pools remain pools and can never attain hot tub temperatures.

What is the best way to reach the property?

Finding our properties is straightforward and convenient, thanks to our accurate Google Maps locations provided in the itinerary. For a seamless experience, guests have multiple options: we offer a personalized escort service from the airport directly to your rental unit, or you can opt for a taxi by providing our address to the driver. For those who prefer to drive themselves, rest assured that our properties are easily accessible with the detailed Google Maps directions, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free journey to your destination

Is there Internet?

Internet is complimentary throughout our properties for your convenience and is provided by third party providers.
